The Whitney offers great deals to honor The 2008 Red Wings Championship Season
Like everybody in Detroit, The Whitney restaurant is celebrating the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship and their phenomenal 2008 season!
Tomorrow, after the Detroit Parade ends, continue the celebration in The Whitney’s new outdoor garden venue. The gardens are open from 11:30AM, however, The Whitney management is especially pleased to offer half off food and drink from 4:00PM to 6:00PM. Morning radio personalities, Jay Towers and Bill McAllister from 97.1FM The Ticket will be on-hand in The Whitney Gardens to talk Red Wings and all other things Detroit from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.

The Wings are an Original 6 team, and we like to think of The Whitney as an original, authentic Detroit destination,” said Bud Liebler, owner of The Whitney. “We invite hockey fans to kick back in our garden for food and drink after the parade and celebrate the Cup’s return to Hockeytown.”
The Whitney Gardens have been renovated for 2008 and offer both casual and fine dining for the first time ever in our colorful oasis in the heart of Midtown, Detroit. The Whitney offers free valet parking and is also pleased to provide a free shuttle to Comerica Park tomorrow evening. Detroit Red Wings players, coaches and staff will participate in a parade to celebrate the 2008 Stanley Cup Championship on Friday, June 6, 2008, starting at 11:00 a.m. The parade will end with a celebration rally at Hart Plaza.
The parade route and additional details will be announced on June 5.
Fans are encouraged to come to Hockeytown and celebrate the return of the Cup!
