CTVX, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SGTB) Slugger Manny Ramirez has signed on as the leading spokesperson for RecoveryX, an energy/sports drink that contains a clinically tested algae extract which has been shown to reduce edema (swelling) and which may support a compromised immune system. Since strenuous exercise can result in swelling and suppression of the immune system, RecoveryX may help athletes recover more rapidly from sports related activities, exercise or other physical activity.
Ramirez, a two-time world champion, has led the league in batting average, home runs, and runs batted in. A 12-time All-Star selection and former world championship series MVP, Ramirez has been on a major hitting streak since coming to LA in early August, 2008, with a batting average of 400, 16 home runs and 49 RBI’s in 49 games.
“Mr. Ramirez is considered to be one of the all time greatest players in baseball,” Brian Jensen, Public Relations Director of CTVX Inc. stated. “We feel his work ethic and personality reflect the RecoveryX product image and our target consumer, which is a major reason we asked him to represent our product.”
“I was introduced to RecoveryX a couple months back when I was traded to LA and I’m impressed with its benefits,” added Ramirez. “Increased energy and faster recovery from workouts are key for professional and every day athletes alike.”
Ramirez will appear in commercials, make personal appearances, and attend other events on behalf of RecoveryX.
The agreement between RecoveryX and Ramirez was brokered through Changing Times Vitamins, Inc. and Boras Marketing.
