Network to feature LIVE coverage of stacked fight card – Friday, May 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET

HDNet will feature LIVE coverage of HDNet Fights: Maximum Fighting Championship – Vindication from the Northlands Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada this Friday, May 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET.

In the main event of the evening, former UFC Middleweight title challenger Thales Leites (16-3) meets Ultimate Fighter alum Jesse “JT Money” Taylor (14-5). Leites is looking to extend his two fight winning streak, while Taylor has won 8 of his last 10 fights, with 7 of those wins coming by submission or TKO.

In the co-main event of the evening, rising light heavyweight prospect Ryan “The Big Deal” Jimmo (12-1) faces UFC veteran Wilson Gouveia (12-7). Jimmo has reeled off 12 straight wins since losing his professional debut in February 2007. Gouveia is fresh off a 6-4 run in the UFC middleweight division and promises to give Jimmo his toughest test to date.

“The MFC consistently puts together great fight cards from top to bottom,” said Andrew Simon, CEO of HDNet Fights. “This should be one of MFC’s best shows AND, it kicks off four fights in four different countries this month on HDNet!”

The LIVE broadcast will also feature Emanuel Newton (12-6) vs. Dwayne Lewis (11-4), Luigi Fioravanti (17-6) vs. Pete Spratt (20-17), Solomon Hutcherson (11-6) vs. David Heath (14-6), and Richie Hightower (8-3) vs. Gavin Neil (7-1).

The broadcast team for the event is Michael “The Voice” Schiavello, Guy Mezger, and Maria Kanellis.
