Leading Fantasy Sport Analyst and Writer Makes the Leap to www.RotoExperts.com
RotoExperts, LLC today announced the hiring of Scott Engel, most recently of ESPN.com and 2006 Fantasy Sports Writer of the Year, to the RotoExperts.com team. Engel, who spent eight years at CBS Sportsline (now CBSSports.com) before moving to ESPN four years ago, joins a growing staff of 25 writers, editors, and stat geeks, all of whom have pitched in to create a home for what RotoExperts founder Ben Ice calls fantasy sports “Analysis with Attitude.”
“We are extremely happy to add a writer as talented as Scott to our content team,” said Ice. “I’ve been a fan of his for many years, all the way back to his days on CBS Sportsline. Scott brings a tremendous skill set and a deep understanding of this very dynamic industry, and he is a testament to our commitment to growing our business.”
“After many exciting years in the fantasy industry with some of the greatest companies in the business, I realized I had already been blessed enough to live out my dreams,” added Mr. Engel. “I was seeking an exciting new opportunity, one where I can be part of a dynamic and unique organization with a ton of future potential. RotoExperts.com was an obvious choice. Management has a great vision and the staff assembled features some of the best talents on the rise. I’m humbled and proud to get in during the early stages of what should be a memorable rise to prominence, on a team that is fully dedicated to helping fantasy owners win their league championships, which has always been my primary goal as a professional.”
Scott Engel’s work first appeared on RotoExperts.com on June 26, 2008. He will be a daily contributor to site content and editorial, and he will serve as Team Leader for Fantasy Football coverage.
